How to Remove Berry Stains

How to Remove Berry Stains

Yummy summer berries are delicious snacks (and are used in some of our favorite desserts), but their stains are no joke! That beautiful, rich purple of a blackberry isn’t always your desired accessory for a clean white tee, is it? Lucky for you, we’ve got just the tricks to remove these stains fast and return your pre-memorial pieces to their original glory!

Step 1

Blot stain

Gently blot the stain with a wet washcloth to lift as much of the berry juice from your garment as possible.

Step 2

Flush garment

Turn garment inside out and flush it with boiling water. Turning it inside out will help flush the stain out of the garment instead of further into the fabric.

Step 3

If stain persists, pretreat with laundry detergent. We recommend our Stain & Odor pods as the enzymes involved will help break down lingering proteins.

Step 4

Wash the item as normal. Use an Oxi Booster for extra stain removing power if needed!
