How We're Celebrating Small Business Saturday 2021

Small Business Saturday continues to be an annual holiday shopping tradition — just one part of the larger Shop Small Movement that supports small businesses every day and everywhere. Shop small with us!

You might not realize it, but every time you pick up a cup of coffee from your favorite neighborhood café or buy a gift from a local artist's online store, you're shopping small and making a difference.

Small Business Saturday continues to be an annual holiday shopping tradition — just one part of the larger Shop Small Movement that supports small businesses every day and everywhere. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there’s been increased awareness of just how much power our dollars have, and folks have been making concerted efforts to invest in their local restaurants, boutiques, farmers markets, and sustainable businesses online and in person. It’s been truly incredible to see!

Did you know that Dropps is a family owned small business? Our story starts way back in the 1980's when we were making chunky yarn at our very own cotton mill just outside Philadelphia. We like to think of ourselves as textile engineers-turned-detergent scientists. Check out our full story here.

Shop Small With Us

This year we got to do something really special to celebrate other small businesses in the sustainability industry! We kicked off this holiday season with our Greater Goods Gift Guide which celebrates shopping small, and offers you some truly incredible deals in every gift category. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so! You just might fall in love with your new favorite small business (and check some last minute shopping off of your list too!)

Whether you use our list or one of your own for inspiration, we hope you’ll consider shopping small this weekend. Thank you for all of your support, and Happy Holidays, Droppers!
