Dropps is constantly taking steps to reduce the greenhouse gases associated with our normal business operations. That’s why we decided to provide carbon neutral shipping on all orders in late 2019.
Now, we’re thrilled to advance that ambition significantly by enabling our customers to make their purchases climate positive in partnership with the green-tech platform, UCapture.
Climate positive means that an activity goes beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions to actually create an environmental benefit by removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Purchases can be made climate positive if they offset more carbon emissions than they produce. UCapture is a browser extension that offsets users' carbon footprint, at no extra cost, when they shop with over 25,000 online stores – including Dropps - and a portion of the purchase price is donated to the carbon offset project of their choosing.
