Summer brings the changes so many of us live for; warmth, vitamin D, swim time, and of course the greenifying of basically everything, including your clothes! Those with kids know all too well the troubles of removing grass stains from fabrics, and even those without sometimes like to relive childhood and roll down a grassy hill, collecting stains as evidence. It’s a throwaway world we live in, but don’t get caught up in the cycle of waste because of a silly stain. Follow these simple steps to get the green out any anything and keep the good times rolling!
Step 1: To begin the stain lifting process, remove stained clothing and soak in a solution of one part vinegar to two parts water for about 15 minutes.
Step 2: Gently dab stain with a clean rag to begin lifting any sediment/staining that was loosened during the soaking process.
Step 3: Washing the stained fabric in an enzyme based detergent. Enzymes hold the power to lift a stain fully, and should be present in whichever detergent you use for tough stains like grass. Dropps Stain & Odor variety of detergents are perfect for this reason!
