Dropps Ranked #289 on Inc 5000 America's Fastest Growing Companies In 2020

Inc. Magazine announced today revealed that Dropps is No. 289 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Inc. Magazine revealed that Dropps is No. 289 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is the second time that Dropps has been recognized, marking the culmination of the company’s successful transformation into a direct-to-consumer household cleaning company

With an impressive growth rate of 1553.48%, Dropps ranks No. 1 in the city of Philadelphia, No. 4 in the Philadelphia-Metro area, No. 6 in the state of Pennsylvania and No. 31 in the Consumer Products and Services Industry.

“Dropps is reinventing cleaning for good. We eliminate everything you don’t need and shouldn’t pay for, delivering high performance, sustainable products that make life simpler,” said Jonathan Propper, founder and CEO of Dropps. “The brand has seen a tremendous amount of growth over the last three years, and it is our valued customers that we have to thank for that. To know that everyday consumers have made a deliberate choice to choose a brand that looks after them, their families, and the planet, is nothing short of amazing. Thank you to Inc. Magazine for the valued recognition. The road ahead is uncertain for many, but we stand strong in our belief that sustainability and wellness will be more important than ever, and Dropps will continue to grow and innovate for a more healthy and environmentally-forward future,” continued Propper.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

As a disrupter to the laundry and dishwashing category, Dropps attributes the growth and success over three consecutive years to the brand’s transition into a digital-first, direct-to-consumer company. By exiting out of traditional brick and mortar retail, and focusing exclusively on e-commerce, Dropps has since obtained greater customer insight resulting in greater sales and brand awareness.

Growth continues in 2020, with Dropps securing its first external investment from socially-conscious investment house, The Craftory. The investment, coupled with new C-Suite hires (including CMO, CIO and VP of Research and Product), along with the unexpected growth in green cleaning categories courtesy of the global pandemic, has primed Dropps for a continued growth trajectory for years to come.

Thank you to Inc. Magazine for the recognition and to our team, our network and of course, our valued customers.
